Some wizard has frozen loads of fairies. You must rescue them.
Of course, it is all at a funny angle that claims to be 3D on the GBA but isn't it makes the game tricky to play and tricky to see where all the platforms are. However once you get past that tricky bit, you find a good platformer with plenty of enemies, gems and (poorly constructed) levels.
