The thing I remember most about this game after I had completed it was the suspense. Play this in a dark room with surround sound and you will be jumping all over the show. It sometimes had me wondering whether it was Condemned making the sounds or whether my neighbours were playing up. The fact that the majority of the scenarios were derelict buildings or abandoned schools just added to the atmosphere.
Taking the scenery apart and using it as weapon was a nice touch. It gave the game a more 'improvised' feel.
The only downside I experienced was the automated Gamerscore updates. There were instances where updates were not triggered even though you had actually satisfied the criteria. Notably the 'Golden Bird Award', but I had issues with the 'Gold Melee Master Award' too. With a bit of perseverence and playing the game through again you will eventually get this acknowledgements for a full 970 score.
