Call of Duty 2 was enjoyable throughout. Being set within different locations and timeframes from the second World War made it that much more interesting. The level of detail used on the scenery, troops and vehicles assisted in the overall realism of the experience. I think I favoured the snowy scenes in Stalingrad the most.
From a long-term point of view, completing all of the scenarios again at Veteran mode is a challenge but not overly so. I think it would have been better if some Gamerscore points could have been reserved for the online activities as they were for Quake 4 and Perfect Dark Zero, but that is really my only negative comment. A thoroughly enjoyable game and I can't wait for the next in the series.
