This is a great game! As was previously remarked, it's probably the best "Superhero" type game since Superhero League of Hoboken. The graphics are amazing (this is what 3D should look like; bright, detailed and colorful, not dull and blocky!) and the game environment is incredibly interactive in terms of the number of objects which can be picked up, blown up, or otherwise tossed around.
While some folks have commented that they'd prefer a game where they could create their own hero and have this hero be the focus of the story, the built-in characters are great, each with a distinct look and distinct set of powers. Since the game story line focuses on the built-in heroes (and certainly evokes the correct comic book feel), this seems a reasonable trade-off, and the game comes out being both very polished and very fun. The only complaint is that it's too short; perhaps only 20-25 hours of play!
