Okay, really great looking game, but should allow a game to just be successful, just based on that? I don't think so. I have a few huge problems with this game, and it's a simple one. There is no branch, and the game is basically linear. No Evil/Good paths, you have to do the quest "to save the world from evil..." and how old does that get? Of course, they're several things you can besides that, while the game waits for you to get back to the main quest, but, it's really all for naught.
Also, the control system is not that great, most of the time it feels like your butter on a hot surface, sliding everywhere. Also, there is no real time damage on the enemies when you hit them, no bonus on the area where you hit them, or any real support for 3rd-person gameplay.
The storyline isn't what I thought it would be, and not everyone wants to be holy, some like to be downright evil, and have fun with the game that way!
I can see how this game gets a great rating, it's pretty, but, the game/gameplay makes this one a very long rental at best!
