This will be short and sweet, straight to the point. This is an excellent game for flight simulator fans. If you are looking for an arcade shoot 'em up flight game, this may not be for you. But if you are a long time flight simulator fan like I am, looking for a good jet simulator, this is an excellent game. You will be able to overlook the horrible interface and briefing/debriefing graphics which look like they were developed for the Nintendo. The out of game graphics are just plain bad. But in game -where it really counts, the graphics are excellent. It looks like two completely different development teams worked on this game.
The jets all fly differently, and react to you just as you would expect them to. Sense of speed is accurate, as well as stalls, and other maneuvers. Make sure to turn the difficulty on "Expert" so you will have rudder and aileron control. You will run out of ammo, so you have to be accurate and wise with use, which adds to the realism of the game. The clouds are very well done, and ground scenery is good. All the planes look really good.
As for xbox live, again the interface is not great. But online play is great!
Bad reviews of this game are simply people looking for an arcade game experience, this is a simulator. I highly recommend this game for any flying/simulator enthusiasts.
