General: I really enjoy this game. It runs fine on my machine with all settings to max though I heard other users with similar machines had problems so I think I was lucky. I mostly played this game's Single Player with my brother over our home LAN as co-op MP mode. It was a blast and ran well! We had good times teaming up and holding back the enemy army.
Graphics/UI: I feel this game looks great but the UI is a little clumsy. It takes some getting used to before you can move your soldiers around as a true fighting force. Being able to zoom in really close and see if your sniper can hit a guy that is over in the corner is a lot of fun.
Multiplayer: There's a Frontline mode where one team attacks & the others defend. You get some time to set up mines beforehand. I really like this mode. You have to try to hold them back until you run out of resources, then you fall back to another "line" and fight back, until you get pushed all the way back (like 3 different lines/stages). This game also includes all SP maps as MP co-op which is FANTASTIC and more games should be doing this.
Overall: I would recommend this game to someone who likes a game that lets you do a lot and understands that with this freedom comes some frustration with the UI (because there's so much you can do, like change inventory on soldiers!). The randomness of the game physics and the way the enemy AI behaves makes FoW very replayable in my mind.
End: There will be a patch out soon that will fix many small bugs (hopefully). The one discouraging thing about the game is that the company that is publishing it (Ubisoft) and the developer (Best Way) have really not promoted the game at all as far as advertising and giving it a "presence" on the web so many people out there will be missing out on this truly fantastic game which means there will be fewer people to play on-line for me. Luckily there are very enthusiastic fans like me on the game's forum that are eager to modify the game & just have fun with it.
