The blue little fellow we all know and love known as Sonic the Hedgehog is back yet again for the Xbox 360, this time. I could've rented Gears of War over this game, so why did I rent Sonic? Well the truth is, we all need to lighten up a bit and have some Sega fun. . .
Audio: The audio in this game is , well, good. It has your standard noises from any Sonic game, slightly improved. Nothing special really, but thumbs up anyways.
Visual: The visual in this game is also, good. It brings in the right amount of graphics as a next-gen game should be, especially in the cinematic parts of the game. This is a spectacular section of visual, yet in real gameplay it seems more, well, normal. Still good though!
Gameplay: This game has repetitive, natural, yet strangely addicting gameplay. Something that keeps you just at the stage where you want to keep playing, and a game that you will plug into your 360 whenever you are bored. I found this game's makers really put new environments into this game, unlike previous Sonic titles. So good for them, they kind of convinced me!
So all in all this game will keep you playing. It will satisfy you visually. It will keep the output just right. But this sticks on edge and it just didn't bring that "Sonic is a classic, and this one is going down with it." yes, although it satisfies you, it doesn't break into the Sonic Hall of Fame. I'm giving this game a 72.7% and reccommend it to rent. To buy? Well, rent it and see if it is your style. I mean really, it seemed to be something good, and a break from all that "KILL THAT SON OF A B****!!!!!" constant gameplay you usually see. Fun, very fun.
