To date, every action flight simulator is below par in the graphics department. The planes look good, or the environment is nice, but the explosions are weak. Ace Combat 4 is the same way. The graphics are too polygonal with ground targets and the explosions are the worst in any genre of video gaming. This is the major element that takes a gamer out of the video game. Realism in a flight simulator is number 1. Everything else is second to this basic premise.
