Quake 3 is an amazing game hands down. Even though its considered old now. Even though when you play it now, the graphics aren't as mind blowing as they would have been when it was first released, but the gameplay is very good.

I don't know why I never could get into this game. While it isn't my favorite game mode, I appreciate a good deathmatch as much as anybody. But I've found the deathmatch in Quake 3 to be less appealing than in any other game I have played...

There is something particularly special about Quake 3 that I've noticed. Its something that few other game's utilize but adds much to the way the game is played. The thing that Quake 3 adds to the mix is speed. The game plays fast and fun. Even...

Quake III: Arena is my favorite FPS so far. Easy to get into a game, and fun to play.
The graphics are dated, but the game runs well on just about any computer. The sound is pretty good, though sometimes a bit scarce. There's really...

Quake 3 Arena is what is called an 'Arena' or 'Tournament' style First Person shooter. Quake 3 is basically a fast paced arcade style internet death match game. Capture the flag is also available, and there are many unofficial mods created by...

This game changed my paradigm of the FPS. I was late on the scene and it was my first experience with the HUGE multiplayer shooter expereience.
I had heard freinds talking about playing Doom II over the 14.4 baud modem and then I...

I give this game an 8 out of 10. I love it. But it glitches a bit. The graphic are great! You can also download skins and out them in the game, or even Make your own and put them in! But the game's frames reload too fast for my eyes, first game...

Quake III: Arena is the worst online multiplayer game I have ever played. This is evidenced by its lack of online players. At some times of ther day, you are simply unable to find a server with anyone on it. The graphics in the game are...

This game is still the perfect deathmatch game. it's pure and simple and is FPS multiplayer combat distilled down to it's very essense. to this day nothing is a greater show of skill then a one on one railgun instagib match in a wide open map. ...

Quake III: Arena is a great online game. It is very fun game to play. Single-player is great. Multiplayer is even better. I don't like the graphics. Everything thing else is great. However, I still prefer to play Tribes 2 online. But, if you...

An average game, no more. I still prefer to play the old school Quake 2. I know I would have loved a single player attatched to this game. Quake 2's single player was among my favorites, there wasn't much thinking involved, just...

great as a tech demo with added multiplayer. nice "maps" included with nice reddish brownish colors. Overall a dissapointment. Whereas UT offered a wealth of options gameplay and a scoring system... Quake 3 is a barebones...

Quake 3 Arena attempts to introduce a new variable into the death match equation: eye-candy. No one can deny that Q3A looks better than the competition; it was designed with this in mind. But it seems as if they added the game play as...
