I think this is a good break from Madden, and that's a very good thing for Microsoft. No one would buy this game if it was a simulation football game like Madden, but because it's a little arcadey it'll get some sales. The graphics are the best ever in a football game, and the running game is fun. The passing game is a little different though. If your wideout is running a slant and you throw a pass, he'll run to the spot where the ball will fall, stand there for 2 seconds, and have it knocked away, or he will catch it and run for a touchdown. The easy setting is only good for toddlers who don't know what button A is. If you're looking for a break from Madden, pick up NFL 2K2, and look for this one next year.
