Gothic is a good 3d action rpg set in a medieval fantasy world. Perspective is from a 3rd person view with a fully rotatable camera. World is huge and fully explorable. Cut scenes using the game engine are well done. Graphics are very good as is sound. Environments offer lots of danger and rewards. Character development is realistic.Always seems to be something new around each corner. Gameplay can take you from, dungeons, to forests, open fields,towns, castles to mountain tops with grand vistas. Great game in this respect. Night and day cycles. Lots of attention to small details. Only down side is initial load times are long and the interface is not as intuitive as it could be, but when you do get used to it, it works ok.
Bottom line, a fun game that realy makes you feel you are there.
