I dont get it. I really enjoyed this game for what its worth.
Maybe not ground breaking or anything like that. But there is still a lotta strategy to go into on this game. I like the space aspect of it as...

If you like Master of Orion 1 or 2 I have only one piece of advice: steer clear away from this horrible "game". I just can't believe how they messed up the wonderful concept of the previous parts.
The difference between MoO2 and MoO3...

What happened here?
Master of Orion II set the standard for galactic empire games and I thought I'd have an enhanced, updated version of that game on my hands once I bought this one.
I'm simply disappointed by this game.

In an odd twist, Quick Silver took the gameplay from the previous two incarnations of made Masters of Orion 3 a more strategic level game.
First off, almost everything is automated. Enough so that you'll fight the automation sometimes...

After reading the IGN review (92%) I decided to buy this game. Even though the graphics are crap (when this was released 5 years ago the graphics would still be considered crap), the gameplay will be great. But this game is one of the most...

Enough of the fire and brimstones- MOO3 is and never will be like MOO2 or MOO1. It's like comparing Kobe to Jordan- or any other ballplayer for that matter. There will NEVER be another Jordan, and there will NEVER be another...

It's pretty obvious that a lot of the players have no fully played the game before writing what they think. I have played about 1000 turns worth and although I certainly do not know everything about this very complex game, I know a fair bit. ...

This is an incredibly bad game. The menus are MORE complicated than Rebellion (if you can imagine that). The graphics are similar to games from the early 90's, even the screen res will not go bigger than 800x600.
The AI is very...

Picked up the game 2 days ago and have put a ton of time into it... so here is my initial review.
First off, the bad news:
The graphics only run in 800 X 600, with no option to change (hard coded). They don't look bad, but not...

It's MOO, it's 4x, some things are good.
The glaring issue is interface problems and cut corners that are frankly inexcusable.
Example #1: Some planets have special features that can be quite significant. The initial...

Ok. Let's get the bad out of the way first. That is, before the really good stuff.
Cons:
-The graphics are terribly basic, and run at a max res of 800x600 (ouch, yuck).
-The sound matches the graphics. 'Nuff...

MOO looks to me to be a up and coming shining star for next year(yes, it was bumped back about 20 times). The sheer level of detail but not only for graphics but also for gameplay. Spys, star lanes, Orion Senate, dipolmacy, and sheer destruction...

This is a continuation of the MOO sedries. While you don't have to have played the first two, They add a richness to the gamestory. With advanced graphics and detail, as well as a HUGE playing map, MOO3 lives up to its tradition of excellence. ...
