While it's common sense that not all games can be ported to all platforms, Electronic Arts completely ignored common sense in the case of Burnout Legends.
It was simply too much to ask of the Nintendo DS hardware in trying to emulate what is a very impressive game on the more-powerful Sony PSP hardware.
We're talking 2-3 cars on-screen tops. We're talking about the bread-and-butter of the Burnout series, which are the crashes, being reduced to a smattering of polygon shards and the same two or three crash sequences. We're talking about a completely broken Crash mode. We're talking about having no sense of speed.
Basically, we're talking about a bad game, which probably should never have been attempted in the first place.
