Sid Meier is a mastermind!!!
Civ 2 is one of those amazing games that you can't take yourself away from. One of the best PC strategy games ever. I actually still go back and occasionally play this game because its so fun. The graphics...

There are times when gameplay and pure joy can make you forgive any technical or artistic glitches. Civ2 is the best example of this. I cant count all the sleepless nights in college spent in playing Civ2. It was pretty much the second RTS...

This is the gold standard for turn-based strategy games. Everyone is familiar with the Civ series, and Civ 2 is - in many ways - the high water mark.
Civ 2 expanded the number of units and options from Civ 1 and made some major changes...

This game belongs in that dangerous "Just One More Turn" species of games. In fact the Civilization and Heroes of Might & Magic series probably represent the pinnacle of turn-based horrors that can take away your personal and social life and suck...

I still play Civ2 even though I have the newer Sid Meier games (Alpha Centauri and Civ3). In my opinion, it's the best one of the series, simply because it gets the perfect balance between complexity of the game and playability. ...

This game entertained me to no end, it was the 1st game that I played until the next day (all night!), choosing the American civilization and getting the Library & United Nations wonders was a great achievement to accomplish.

BEST GAME EVER?
Many people would say so. Unlike most sequels, this game took the original Civ and improved it to a near-perfect state.
This game is very well balanced providing a challenge for players of any...

Civilization II is a great, great game. It's so complex it takes on account the vicinities of your city as one of the attributes that will determine its growth. Be prepared for peace treaties, war situations, military alliances, and some...

Sid Meier Masterpiece. Not even Civ 3 can touch it still. What hasnt been said about Civ 2 that needs to be said is that it could be played in a window and had a great GUI (for its time). The grandaddy of 4x strategy...

The Civilization series represents perhaps the best in PC strategy gaming to date, and Civ 2 is the best of the series (though I haven't yet tried Civ 3). Get the Gold Edition, which has many additional scenarios as well as enhanced...
