Hidden & Dangerous (I played the Deluxe version with 3 additional campaigns) is a fun diversion from the norm. Having found a free (and legal) download on the web from the developer/publisher I spent a number of hours working my way through the various squad-based campaigns, each of which offer a variety of game play situations, good graphics and an interesting storyline. Overall the game is a lot of fun and definitely worth the free download, but my biggest problem with the game is the AI of the squad members you play with. Oftentimes I had to micromanage them to ensure that they wouldn't do something stupid like give away my position, go running out in the open like a madman or something similar. Sometimes that work really well with you and other times you wish you could shoot them yourself (you can, but it wouldn't help you progress in the game much).
Audio and graphics are well done with interesting mission set-ups and in-game scenes and atmosphere. It takes a bit of time to get used to the squad controls (I'd never played a game like this before so perhaps it was just me) but once you've got it you'll very easily direct your four-man crew.
In the end this was a worthwhile diversion and did I mention it was free! (grin)
