You know, I didn't know what to expect from Shadowman when I first popped it into my DreamCast, but I walk away from the experience a very happy guy. Coming away from the game is like walking out after a movie that was much better than what you expected. I found the Shadowman story well crafted and well implemented with a variety of levels to keep the action/adventure fan in me engrossed. The sound in particular was very well done - it's moody and sounds amazing in a full Dolby environment. If I did have a couple of gripes, they would be about the occasional audio "glitches" that pop in from time to time (i.e., in the transitions between areas in the game) and the ending, which could have been handled a little more dramatically. All in all, Shadowman is an excellent game that offers a great storyline, beautiful visuals, amazing atmosphere and long play-time for a bargain-basement price!
