Rayman 2 is an incredible platformer than any fan of the genre must own! Yes, that's a bold statement, but Rayman 2 wholeheartedly lives up to it! Of all the platform games I've played (i.e., the Crash series, Gex, Mario, etc.), Rayman 2 comes out on top with incredible graphics and wonderfully varied gameplay that makes playing the game a lot of fun for gamers of any age. The visuals are really quite stunning and I can honestly say that it's the first game that has made me really pause and look around at the environments. However, it is the gameplay that makes this game shine with typical run and jump activities as well as waterskiing, rocket-riding and boarding (i.e., sliding) type activities. All in all, this is a great game and my favourite on the Dreamcast to-date! Pick it up if you have the chance! 9.6/10
