Simply stated, Jedi Power Battles is another game that relies on the draw of its licence (in this case being Star Wars) to sell the product. The game itself follows the plot of Star Wars: Episode I and has you playing one of 5 characters (although more are unlockable) through 10 confusing levels where jumps can be hard to make and opponents shoot at you from off-screen. The camera can be terrible too making it difficult to see where you need to jump to next. On the plus-side, the audio is well done and the music is straight from the memorable John Williams movie tracks. They could have done so much more with this title while porting it to the DreamCast and I was disappointed with the whole game experience. Only give this one a try if you are a die-hard Star Wars fan who has exhausted all other gaming options and wants a short lesson on "what-not-to-do in a videogame."
