Medal of Honor Underground sees you playing a female agent named Manon who has joined the resistance to battle Hitler's Reich in locations from Paris to North Africa. Like EA's previous title, this Medal of Honor continues the high production values of the series. The mood is great, the sound effects and music fantastic and the missions very interesting. However, I didn't find this game a big leap forward over the previous title. It felt more like an expansion to the first game, which isn't a bad thing except that there didn't seem to be much additional innovation this time around. Needless to say, if you enjoyed the first game, you will enjoy Underground!
My only points of frustration with the game involve enemies that spawn out of thin air who are also capable of shooting (and hitting you) through solid objects (such as walls). Beyond that, I thoroughly enjoyed this game (it's a little harder than the first which is a good thing too) and look forward to battling in the next game in the series!
