I picked this game up after playing it on a McDonalds N64 kiosk! I couldn't believe how different it felt from R4 on the PSX. Much more arcade-y in both graphics and gameplay. My 5 year-old son will play this one but not R4 on...

Nintendo Software Technologies (NST) did a great job in bringing the Ridge Racer experience to the Nintendo 64. The sense of speed is even faster at times than the Namco versions for PSX, which is an impressive feat.
A good racing game for the 64. As is previous with the Ridge Racer series there is not a huge number of tracks but instead a small amount with many varations. Some of the nice freatures in this version inclued some great lighting effects...
