Most excellent! Reminds me of the golden age of console RPGs (SNES/Genesis era), but with many of the refinements that have come into the genre since those days.
Top-notch graphics, music, gameplay, and story. Very pleasing production values, excellent color manual, fold out map, and so on.
Only drawback is the very frequent random battles. If those had been cut down or made avoidable, this would be a 10.
