A thoroughly enjoyable arcade conversion. Aside from a few small and largely unnecessary details, this game is a beautiful arcade conversion. There's not a whole lot too this game, even calling it an RPG-lite is probably overstating it, but if a easy to pick up hack-n-slash game is what you're looking for then this may be the way to go. There's not quite enough variety to make me want to go back and play it again and again with the different characters, but it took me many hours of enjoyable gaming to get through it and I can only imagine the increased fun and chaos with other people. This is probably worth renting first to see if you like it, but overall it's a fun game to play that I recommend.
