This would've been a great game two years ago. Then the graphics would've been cutting edge and the AI scripting would've been forgivably mediocre. But compared to current titles like Medal of Honour: Allied Assault and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the only edge this game has is its setting and idea.
Which, if they'd delivered on the idea that you could take out a base however you want (barracks, then power or some other combo), would've been very cool.
As it is, the level design basically shunts you into a 1,2,3 approach where your choice between alternatives is too limited to be interesting.
The enemy AI is average but due to the level design, seems worse than usual because the designers are trying to get the AI to do stuff it just can't do well (ie, conduct a battle while you work your way through).
The cinematics are extremely well-done and the scripting is fun and not too serious.
There needs to be a distinction made between deathmatch and multiplayer because this game has what seems like a great multiplayer mode but it CANNOT provide entertainment for only two people. It's a mode that requires a lot of bodies to be successful, like Team Fortress or Capture the Flag.
All said, I finished the game and while there were parts I didn't enjoy, I certainly thought it was a cool experience.
