Solid game, but I have a few gripes: 
 
-Long, tedious races with crap for rewards 
-No used cars 
-No classic cars 
-Can't re-win a car 
-No sense of speed 
-No 4 player split-screen 
-No sound options 
-No damage model 
-I want more customization besides contol and wheel color! 
 
Best racing game on the PS2? Yeah, although TE:0 is pretty close.  Best racing game ever? No way!  GT2 was better.
