I'll preface what you're about to read with this: GO BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW. OK Maybe I'm a bit biased, hey I only stopped playing GTA III yesterday. I had played it a full year, which is a rarity for me. I own all 3 systems and mow through games faster than the entire EGM staff. There is little out there I haven't beaten, and very little I haven't played. There was a long affair with halo, some one-night stands with RE, Sly Cooper, Kingdom Hearts, and Super Mario Sunshine, but for 2001-2002 my steady girlfriend was GTA III. I always came back to her when I was bored or lonely. Whenever I wanted to impress my friends. I really fell in love with Liberty City. Now? Well GTA III has a special place in my heart, and she is a "classic girl" and I might even go back someday and see how she is doing, but I have met the girl I am going to marry, Vice City. A much larger more alive city, motorcycles (!), helicopters, airplanes, new weapons, new enemies, you can purchase property in the city (A use for my millions!) shoot out tires, hey you guys know about all the additions. But is it worth it, does it work, did Rockstar really re-create the magic? Honestly, I feel like I owe them a few hundred more dollars 'cause $50 seems like an awfully good bargain for a game I will be playing a year from now. An instant classic, a masterpiece, a work of art, Vice City is the best videogame ever, and she has stolen my heart. (And my social life)
