THE GOOD: Everything from GTA3 only bigger and better. Even though using weapons can still get tricky because of sometimes uncooperative camera work, their implementation is better than in the previous GTA. Jacking and driving cars is as fun as ever - the ability to commit drive bys is much appreciated. Missions are extremely varied and while a few can be frustrating they are all very do-able(if I can finish the game ANYONE can). The voicework is much more polished and professional this time thanks to real, big time actors like Ray Liotta and Dennis Hopper. The story is also more intriguing with all the twists and backstabs you'd expect.
THE BAD: Visually GTA:VC is not noticeably better than GTA3 but then again that's not what made it one of the best games ever. The camera can still be frustrating at times but that's more a result of the nature of the beast that is third-person action games.
OVERALL: GTA3 still stands as the revolutionary game but GTA:VC holds it's own as the highly polished, content-loaded sequel. A MUST BUY.
