This is the best racing game available on any platform, but still as it's faults. Graphically this game has everthing, the game is a awesome to watch as your race around truely stunning tracks. Like the TV ad, I found myself stopping my car, just to admire various sections of track. The oval race track absolutely sucks big time. The motor cars sound great (worth turning up the volume), but the music tracks aren't as good as GT1 or 2 (the music from GT3 would make a pretty trashy Audio CD). The game play is very similar to GT1 & 2, which is to say it is very good. AI of the oponents is still the weakest link in this series. This game is too similar to the first two versions, I got bored playing this game after about 20 hrs (though I regularly go back and race for 2 or 3 hour stints). The one area of gameplay that really stood out as much improved over GT2 is the rally section (great fun racing through clouds of dirt to try and catch the vehicle in front).
