Call of Duty 2 bursts onto the 360 and is easily the most immersive experience on the launch bill for the console. It drops you into the roles of four soldiers on three different sides of WWII. You participate in the defense of Stalingrad as Private Vasili Koslov of the Red Army, scale the cliffs at the battle of Pointe du Hoc on D-Day as Corporal Bill Taylor, and as Private John Davis, you take on Irwin Rommel and the Afrika Corps in Libya and Tunesia. Each setting looks amazing in its own right, and play slightly differently. The Russian campaign has you doing a lot of urban street fighting, while the British campaign has a lot more open environments and unique experiences, like commanding a tank, and spotting for artillery. The American Campaign plays much like the British Campaign, only a bit harder toward the end. It plays smoothly with no glitches, sounds amazing, and all in all is the best game on the console right now. There is no excuse for owning a 360 and not owning this game.
