This game is incredible. I haven't played any of the other football games for the PS2, but I don't see how they could improve much on what EA has done with Madden. The graphics and motion capture player movements are awesome. Gameplay is tight and the AI defense is much improved from Madden 2001. Add to that the new Team Creator mode and it is as close as you can get to running your very own NFL franchise. The only knock that I still have against this game (and all sports games in general) is that while you are playing games in 5 or 10 minutes quarters, the CPU played games are still running at 15 minutes quarters. So the number of plays that you will see for the team you are playing in the season stats is much lower than the CPU controlled teams. Other than that, I think this game is perfect.
