I don't see what the big deal about this game is. After all the hype about how great this game was, it's so disapointing. What most people seem to think are small flaws, I think are huge, enough to make this game merely average. My biggest complaint is how 80% of your and the computers points come in the paint, mostly on dunks and lay-ups. To make thinngs worse the only chance you have to stop a player who has started there dunk animation is to get in front of them and hope you can draw the charge, your not blocking them, not with Deke no with Shaq. Theres almost no touch on your jumpers, and since its so easy to score on dunks and layups theres no point of having an outside game. On the hardest level the comp shoots 75-80% from the feild and because of that the scores can get very inflated. The comps open players hit all there shots no mater who takes them. All that said the game can be fun if you enjoy a uptempo fastbreak style. The graphics are as good as any other game on ps2 regarless of genre. This is a very fun arcade game not much of a sim though.....Oh and the creat a player will let you make a good looking player but not a talented player.
