Very overrated. I liked beter the first time i played it when it was called "Metal Gear Solid" for psx. For all the imressive graphical adancements, the game play (other than a few new move's) reamins more less the same (which isn't that bad of a thing I am giving it a seven). What realy bothers me is the amount of gameplay and what happens in between it. The story is ridiculus. For some reason the people who write plot for games, and the people who play games standards for story falls of a cliff. If you payed how ever much you pay to see a movie at your local theater you would want your money back. And the plot never stops geting in the way of the game, the cinematics are well done visualy, the voice acting is great, but the plot as it unfolds is stupid. You can't escape it no mater how hard you try, you save your game and before you can do that an awkward love story starts unfolding un your communication screen,you have a puzzle figured out, and then your alert goes off so your comander can explain what you already know...Botom line to much talking not enough playing
