This game is really a mix of good and bad. The story starts out promising enough, but soon degenerates into yet another mad guy in crazy scheme for power bit. Likewise, gameplay has its ups and downs. Trance, Auto-regen, summons, and balance are all terribly done, completely throwing the game out of whack. But the ability and class system are good enough, and the game still retains that quality Final Fantasy feel. The graphics are amazing, with some beautiful cut scenes and even greater locales, but the character design could use a lot of work. In the end, I was glad I played it, but I doubt I'll play it again.
