changed my vote from 8 to 7
the more I played it the less I liked it.
Animations are far too stiff and the mission design in "revolution mode" is pathetic at best.
Again, lack of mulitplayer hurts the game a LOT

The game is a good solid beat em up with lots of play modes.
It is not an epic adventure game, rather it harkens back to Smash TV for the arcades.
This isnt a game you play for 10 hours straight like GTA3, instead beat up troopers for 20 minutes, run a few missions, raise havoc.
The graphics push a ton of polygons which is nice, although the special effects, and lighting are disappointing.
A day/night cycle would have added a tremendous amount of polish to the outdoor levels.
The music and sound effects are a bit lackluster.
The animations are also a little stiff and fast, remeniscent of 2D fighters like street fighter II (this is a good thing for many people)
Multiple characters are nice, but the game sorely lacks a multiplayer mode.
4 player multi tap SHOULD have been top priority for the devs of this game.
Still the game is good fun, the graphics never slow down the framerates, and multiple weapons, and interactive environments keep things somewhat fresh.
Overall its the best beat em up availible on next gen consoles ;) not that there is a lot of competition right now in that category.
