It's really sad and shortsighed how people bash this game because it's "More of the same"
How can you say GTA3 was an awesome AAA game and then say GTAVC stinks? Not to mention the ignorant statements made about the game's graphics from a few users.
Most who claim that its "The same from last year only with different missions" clearly havent played much of the game.
New weapons, new characters, new soundtrack, new fighting, Katanas, owning property, "side gunner" missions, helicopters, motorcycles, new design for how side missions work etc...
The bashers and naysayers obviously havent played the game long enough to discover these items. Anyone who has flown the helicopter, and can then come back and say GTAVC is just more of the same is lying to themselves.
Could you fly a helicopter in GTA3? Were motocycles in GTA3? Could you smash up a car with a golfclub in GTA3?
Could you do missions for yourself in GTA3? Own property?
The list is too long for me to detail, it just goes to show that "user reviews" are often innaccurate ramblings of people who either never even played the game, or watched a friend play it, or perhaps saw some screenshots.
Its is ignorant and flat out incorrect to say GTAVC is the same as GTA3 except for the story and missions.
The only thing that is the same is the basic game engine, which is how it works for most sequels on the same console, duh!
