This game can be compared to Zelda, but that is really unfair to Musashi. Brave Fenser Musashi is really a platformer with rpg elements. Thats not to say that this is a twitch game, as the opening mission would make you beleive. There is a fair amount of items to find, people to save and puzzles to sovle. You need to absorb powers from you enemies to move forward in many places and there there is a sense of freedom in choosing what to do next after you make it to the first town, but overall it is a platformer, and not a very good one at that. Don't get me wrong this is a fun game, but when a game feels like a platformer, the magic system, item system, and time system only hinder the game from being great. Rent first.
