A very good game that could have been great. Too many playable characters makes many of them feel useless with no personality. The lack of story for most of the characters is the main thing holding Chrono Cross back. The magic system can be hard to get used to, but is great once you do. Overall I loved this game once I got into it but that took awhile. The music is incredible and the graphics are top notch for thier time. If you are a fan of rpgs you should buy this game, but make sure you put an effort into liking it, you will be rewarded if you do.
