Fable...  ive been playing it since it first came out.  I would really recommend it to everyone.  Heres some things i had to say about it.

Disapointments:

At first, the hype was all around it.  Where if you cut a tree, it would fall and remain there through the years and slowly decaying.  Thats not true, actually, i really didnt notice any of that.  Not all trees were cuttable, and those that were, were meant to be.  Also, the scaring.  Rumored then that when someone cuts you, the scars of the weapon stay on you until it fades away, assuming its a light wound.  Well..  again, not true.  After i let bandits attack me for about 50 hits, slight scars happen around the chest region.  It doesnt develope where the character hits you, it shows up after being beaten alot.  The scars of one of my characters looks exactly the same of the scars of my other character.  Another thing, Big Blue Box and the creator of Fable have said that this will redefine RPG's.  Really, its much like a typical RPG.  All RPGs are different.  Either new ways of fighting, leveling, or weaponry, they are all different.  Fable only includes the fame factor, and some personal traits that arent really noticeable.  Sure, the tattoos and haircuts, big whoop.  What happened to the tanning part.  Light side characters automatically turn bright white and glowing, Dark side characters get darker colored.  I hated that the most.  I wanted to shape my character, instead..  his fame shaped him.  He was a good guy, so therefore, his hair and skin went white.  No color dying? And evil characters had unattractive horns.  Also, the character ageing was pretty stupid.  They aged only when you upgrade your character with exp.  And you cant really play the younger you.  You start as a kid, and becomes an adult.  Your teen years are spent doing training, nothing much.  Then your out as an adult, wheres the hype in that.  And finally, its way to short to be worked on for 4-5 years.

The story was great.  I also liked the way the character developed.  The easyness of the game made it enjoyable to the older and younger audiences alike.  The range of weapons and clothing are astonishing.  Especially with the level of detail that goes with it.  the fun factor is amazing.  You get hooked for weeks.  I would recommend it to people.  Its live compatible, which means it is up for downloadable content, making the game for more better.  The replay value is only worth a few more times.  Once your done with you light side character, then a dark..  there really isnt much else left to do.
