Many people have complained about the graphics engine, stating that its the same one used in the original. Who cares, the game was already slowed when too many blaster shots were fired, better graphics might freeze the game altogether.
I would say, if you liked the first one, its only obvious your gonna get the sequel. Only, its not exactly a sequel. The bugs and GLITCHES in the game pissed me off the most. I got 4-5 hours into the game, and it glitched off. The game had to be restarted. I had to restart my character. I havent finished the game yet, but who knows when that might happen again. Right before the boss battle?
Well.. the voice talents are as good as the first game. New people, i would rather buy KOTOR 1. Not because its chapter 1, but its a far better game. The plot, and the story flowed nicely, making it one of the most addictive RPGs ever. This game certainly has its boring parts, but sometimes... its just so boring, that you HAVE to turn off the xbox for awhile. I never experienced that with KOTOR 1.
The sounds are alright. It mostly is sound repeating over and over. Like, if you stand still. you will hear the same door opening sound every 1 and half minutes. The music.. boring. Another looped song.
I think BIOWARE should have taken the project, it would obviously have been better.
I sound pretty negative about this game so far, but i would recommend players to get it if they loved the first one. It has its fun times, and the boring. A warning, is that its a completely different kind of game. The interface, graphics engine, and controls are pretty much the same, but you notice a difference about the two right away.
