It plays identically to Resident Evil, the graphics haven't actually improved much either.
The production values are good ( apart from the soundtrack / footage of character speaking )
After the intro you get to select from two characters, the woman has more puzzle based objectives whilst the man starts out with a gun so there is a lot more mindless shooting.
The much taunted lighting effect is ok ( you get a flashlight which you can direct around the screen...wow....)
You can also run, even up and down stairs, which helps stop you getting fed up with the overall speed of the game.
The lip-synch is terrible, its like watching an old Godzilla dudded film.
The plot is good enough to keep you interested, one gripe I did have is that once you obtain a gun and limited ammo ( for the woman ), even the earliest monsters take far too many shots before they die - you end up just running past them - just like Resident Evil.
I guess if you like this style / type of game, then this is just more of the same - but it feels like all the best ideas have been stolen off similiar games and rehashed to make this.
