You'll have to excuse me, I fell in love with this game the moment the gameplay began. This game is a very fun, addictive, journey.
The gameplay is absolutely amazing, and fluid, things flow together very nicely. The controls are great to get the hang of, and the characters respond very quickly to the press of a button. The enemy AI is pretty stellar too, and the levels of the intelligence increase with the difficulty of the characters. For example, a rat isn't going to figure out my attack pattern. What adds to the excellence of this game is its multiplayer option. My friend and I teamed up to tackle the dark alliance and had a great time. The story is great and the acting is just as good, and ability to go a lot of places is really great.
The graphics in this game are mind blowing. If you've ever walked your character through the water, and if you've played this game you have, you will become speechless with the wake left behind. Everything about this game seems to be fanatasy, but the graphics are very good and true to life. The character models are supreme and the animation is awesome, and yes, I noticed the jiggle at the bar the first time I played. The in game cutscenes kick major butt, and are the stuff I write home about. Everything seems to be together with this game, and very few slowdowns and famerate issues are evident (well, I only had slowdown once).
The replay value on this game is very high when not completed. I haven't completed it yet, and just want to get everything and anything I can for my character. You can buy various types of armour, weaponary, and potions; these can also be collected along the way and sold back for cold, hard gold. Having a friend with you as eager to play is always a bonus, and you'll find yourself having trouble putting the game down. We tried beat the game in a span of 24 hours, and so far its been 18 and we aren't (feels like) anywhere near being done. I've decided that this game is worthy of a purchase. I'm usually not a big fan of the rpg type games, but the fighting, graphics and story line keep me itching.
