This is by far the best football game ever in my eyes. For starters, the game is extremely difficult. The first time I played (as usual on the All-Madden difficulty), I played the Falcons with the Niners and lost 14 - 13. My only TD came on a kick return. No longer can you throw like an animal and get three receivers with one hundred yards and blow away the computer. No longer can you pound the middle consistently and eventually break off an 80 yard scamper. No longer can you be burn play in, play out by the CPU (although, I still feel the defensive controls are iffy). Get this: PLAYERS DROP BALLS. The ratings are also very accurate and I feel this game is an overall masterpiece.
Take a look at the depth of this game. Never has anyone seen somemany modes, options and create-a-whatever the hell you want. This game is definitely getting better and better; and is not an update on last year's rosters.
