Time to make money the old fashioned way... by turning your buisness rivals into homeless people dancing on street corners for pennies. In this game, you start out with a few million dollers and try to corner the buisness world. You do so by buying or harvesting natural reasources, growing crops and animals, mining metels, and drilling for oils and so forth, then sending them to your factories where you turn them into finished good and then send them to your stores where you sell them to the public. Sounds easy, right? Well its not. What sets this game appart is the amount of realism that goes into it. While its not a compleat carborn copy of the real world, you do have to deal with nitty gritty details to turn a profit. The game makes every buisness have 9 blocks to work with. You assign each block to work on something and then connect them. For example, in a department store you would have a purchesing block to buy products from your factory, a rival's factory, or a harbor. You then link it to a sales's block, which sells it to the people in a city. And finaly, you would link that to a advertisement block to get poeple to hear about your product. The game puts things into the mix that others dont, like a very realistic stockmarket, limited reasources and monopolizing capibility, quality control, market share, and shipping issues. The are a few downsides. The game does not have anything by way of sounds to offer, all the space going into the number's aspect of the game. That said, the graphics are utter crud, the best graphics being the pictures of the products. If you dont mind a game that looks like tin-foil but plays like gold, then you might want to give this a try. Just a warning, this game is only for those who are hard core buisness sim gamers. This is not a sim for the less dedicated.
