Mixing Resident Evil with a little bit of RPGs and Time crisis. The story is kind of odd. You are a woman who was on a plane when a bunch of terrorists cause it to crash and burn, one of them some freak in a cloak mumbing about a great distoryer. You and a very small few survive the crash and land in a very remote mountan area currently experiencing a blizzard. What is weird is that some people are turning into strange monsters reflecting their inner self, the effect transmitted by being bitten, cut, or otherwise infected physicly. You have to find a way to stop all this from spreading to the rest of the world. You can gain levels to increase your health and attack power with your weapons the more monsters you attack. The attacks are random attacks, the system moving to a first person shotting system, each moster having a weak point that will cause it to halt an attack if you hit it. Also, unlike other games like RE where you eventualy run out of healing items, you have basic healing items can be substituted by meats you get by hunting with a jerky rifle, shooting bunnies and deers for meat. The monster bosses are rather disterbing and the story gets more indepth and creepy as the story goes on, making you really get hooked and want to finish the game. I dont see why so many people did not enjoy it. The only thing I see wrong is that the game becomes a little hard when you have a long hard time getting from one spot to the other quickly. Other then that, its a very innovative game that will grip you.
