This is Square's first attempt to send a Final fantasy game to the playstation and most would agree its the better of all the FF games before 10 came out (though I beleave that 3/6 is better). This game compleatly breaks off the first 6 games by going through a Science fiction feel rather then fantasy. Storyline is very bending and altering as the story goes, many different aspects, so many so that you can easly forget who does what or where it all comes togeather, very confusing at times. The equipment system and magic system are rather odd for those used to the past 6 games, no real armor and weapons that trade power for slots where you stick jewels that allow you to use skills, magic, or summons. The number of Mini games are huge and keeps you interested. Over all a good game with just a few falts, but no one seems to care about them.
