Wow, they are bleading Yu Gi Oh like they are bleading Pokemon and Mario. This is an interesting little game, as it is based compleatly around a few select episodes from the TV show based off the card game Yu Gi Oh. Apperently they liked the idea so much that they made a game based on the one shown in the TV show, and I suppose they did a worth-while job.

In this game, you dont play with cards of any sort, but instead you are playing with dice. In the start of each battle you chose which dice you are going to take out with you, like a 'Deck' so to speak. In each dice there are monsters (or in some cases, items). The stronger the monster is, the harder it is to summon. To summon a monster, you have to roll 3 dice that are randomly pulled from your dice pool. If two or more summon crests come up, then you can summon a monster that was in the dice that rolled the summon crests. If not, then you roll again next turn. Each time you summon a monster, you have to place it on a board, which is empty at the start. Placing a dice means you have to form a path (the path is 'created' as your dice opens up, so the path is always 6 spaces, though of different patterns kind of like how Tetris is 4 spaces in different patterns). Each path has to connect and your goal is to connect your path to your opponent's heart gadge, located on the opposet side of the field. To get there, you have to get through your opponents monsters and path.

Your dice dont have just summon crests, but many different crests. There are magic crests, trap crests, movement crests, attack crests, and defense crests. These crests are used to perform different actions. Some monsters can perform special abilities when you store enough crests for them to use. Each monster has different stats, such as HP and Attack points. When a monster is attacked, if the attacker does not have enough to kill it outright, it just reduces it's HP. If your monster attacks your opponents heart gadge, it lowers by one. You start with three, adn if you go down to zero, you lose. Each time you win, you can win dice and money to buy more dice. Each monster dice has a different number of crests on them, so part of the stratagy involves what dice to throw when you need more crests and which dice has what crests.

The game has a sound system to it, and its not bad, but the graphics are bad, along the lines of Saga Fronteir and Mario RPG for the SNES. The monsters look like random colored shapes glued togeather. The music and sound is also, for a lack of a better turn, painful. The A.I. is retarded, and will sit there and do the same silly tactics over and over and over. The only challange is if you have no good dice and your opponent always rolls the crests he needs. The difficulty curve is almost non-existant, as I never lost a battle and my dice where not that good. Its an Ok game, but you will most likely get bored with it rather quickly.
