The graphics are extraordinary, the gameplay spot-on, the balance great, and the AI is the very best I've ever seen. The only thing keeping Virtua Fighter 4 from being a ten is the lack of plot or extra play modes. There's no team battle to speak of, no real endings... In short, there's all the substance you could ever ask for, just not enough flash to be truly perfect.
