Ugh. This is what fighting games are becoming? I think I'll take a pass. Sure, it's got a splendid amount of cool characters and plenty to unlock, but the thing is unabashedly a button masher. Filling the screen with 50ft tall fireballs is not my cup of tea. I'd much rather some more restrained (read: comprehensible and strategic) action in my fighting games, a la Street Fighter II or Bushido Blade. It has nothing to do with speed, mind you; I much prefer SFII Turbo at the highest setting that this burlesque nightmare. This game only gets a 7 because of the cool licenses, great graphics, and replay/multiplayer value. Otherwise it would be a 5...
