This game is receiving a lot of attention, I believe undue attention, largely because of the "unlikely" combination of Disney and Square. And what an unlikely combination it is.
The game is slow at the start, and yes it is tedious at times, the battle system is a chore of button mashing, the camera is a pain (horrible! Where's the quality control?) - but there is something a little magical about watching some of the greatest characters of their responsive genres together on the screen in the same story. This gives it an extra point or two at least, to a 7 in my score from a more likely 6.
It's a rental for sure. The graphics are over hyped (or maybe I'm just getting used to the Xbox and Gamecube) and the story is average. But it is still worth checking out.
