I was very excited about this game, having watched the movie many years ago, and once again recently just to get into the mood of the game. And the mood is pretty well spot on most of the time, with the suspense through aprehension motif that has become very popular these days in the better movies and games. Gameplay is good, story is good to very good and overall feel is good to above-average.
So why a 7? The graphics, for one, are average for an Xbox game. And the sound is not Dolby Digital. I am getting very tired of seeing below average ports of other systems' games that do not use the specific strengths of the Xbox. If you don't care for these aspects, by all means feel free to add a point or two to my score. But to me, any game that uses 2nd rate graphics and sound should pay a price.
